This is another one of my little 5″x5″ oil on canvas pieces. I’m still playing with complementary colours and the classic pairing of red and green. For the green in this painting I decided to work with decorative kale. They can be so attractive, you can have ones that look like roses! This one continues to have a post impressionist influence on the more modern abstracted tiled background. The bright colours and textures in this piece are a fun treat to look at.
