This little 6″x4″ piece continues on with themes from my previous pieces of work, combining my explorations with oil painting and complementary colours with my artisan craft beadworking. This contemporary piece is done in a modern abstracted style, fitting with the background styles of other elements of my work. 275 individual czech glass seed beads have been and embroidered onto the thick canvas board, creating additional elements of colour and texture.

This is a long green seed beaded rope created by Annalee Beer of EverAfter Artisanry. This piece is like the scarf of the necklace world. Earlier in the week I was contacted on my Instagram Account by an account called madeinmeeka. They told me that they were a group working with locals to create community opportunities. They were asking for support in continuing a program so that their remote area artists can continue to make art and share their culture. I had to say I was intrigued.
