Hi everyone! It has been a little while since I’ve posted. Last time I wrote here it was a couple of months ago and I mentioned a project I was starting about printing up postcards with linework of Brisbane City. Its been a good project so far! Hello everyone! It has been a long time since I have written here. Thats something I’d like to change, its a goal this year to blog more often and more consistently. I think a good way to start would be to give an update on what I’ve been up to. There’s been a lot of textile design going on in my life at the moment. This gorgeous pair of earrings has been made by Annalee Beer of EverAfter Artisanry. The piece is created using Czech glass beads, gorgeous natural freshwater pearls and attached to stainless steel ear wires. This piece of jewelry has a glamorous boho feel to it. This special buttonhole was created for a lovely February wedding in 2017. Every bead in this design has been stitched into place one by one with my own two hands. It was a treat trying to figure out how to do this with a gradient pattern to match the beaded flowers in the brides bouquet! This piece has been intricately beadwoven by myself, Annalee Beer of EverAfter Artisanry. Each bead needed to be stitched into place using my own two hands.
