Blue gradient beaded buttonhole for a special groom.

This special buttonhole was created for a lovely February wedding in 2017. Every bead in this design has been stitched into place one by one with my own two hands. It was a treat trying to figure out how to do this with a gradient pattern to match the beaded flowers in the brides bouquet! This very special piece has been created with Czech glass seed beads, accented with Swarovski crystals and centered with a dyed blue freshwater pearl. This is a luxurious and ultimately very special little piece.

To add to its story, on the wonderful day due to the bustle of getting prepared for the wedding the buttonholes were actually missed and the groomsmen didn’t wear them! Alas! However they still have this piece as a keepsake of the day, and as a token of the love and care that went into its creation, for the celebration of the love and care that the lovely couple share for each other. <3
