Hello everyone! It has been a long time since I have written here. Thats something I’d like to change, its a goal this year to blog more often and more consistently. I think a good way to start would be to give an update on what I’ve been up to.

There’s been a lot of textile design going on in my life at the moment. The number of listings in my Etsy store has been growing wonderfully. Right now its a goal to add more of these products to this site. I’ve changed my branding from EverAfterArtisanry to Annie B Creative, since my focus has become less about weddings and artisan jewelry. They are still a part of my practice, and I’m in the process of making a new beaded bouquet right now, among other jewelry items – but my focus is broader and my textile design work has been taking more space.

One new project that I’ve started to work on is painted post cards of the city. I moved into a new apartment with beautiful views of the city. I took a photo from my balcony with the most attractive view of the city I could see, and have turned it into some line work. I’ve just ordered 500 prints of this line work onto large matte postcards and when they arrive I want to start a daily practice of colouring/painting them in. As I get into this practice I’ll post pictures and let you know more about it.

I’m looking forward to this year. Here’s hoping for a great art practice this year.
